She glared at me, but I couldn't help but laugh. My dad, ever the peacemaker, chimed in, "Why don't you just eat like a normal person? It's not like you're going to die if you he a sl of pizza."
My mom, always the vo of reason, nodded in agreement. "You know, honey, yo body's not a temple. It's a place where you eat, sleep, and watch reality TV. Just enjoy it, okay?"
But let's not forget about my brother. He's the of mischief, always finding new ways to get into trouble. One time, he decided to try out his new cooking skills. He was "chicken" for dinner, but it tned out to be a mix of chicken and something else... let's just say it wasn't chicken. As we sat down to eat, my sis took one te and nearly choked. "What is this?" she exclaimed, her eyes watering.
"Um, it's chicken?" my brother replied, trying to sound innocent.
My mom, who had been silent until now, bst out laughing. "It's a mystery meat, I think. The kind that makes you question yo own taste buds."
